We are delighted to welcome you and your family to Independent Place Nursery and Baby Nursery.

Independent Place is a private day Nursery for children from three months to four years. It provides a safe, caring, stimulating and happy environment for your child at the most receptive stage of development. Our wealth of enjoyable learning activities enables children to learn and develop and fulfil their potential in a safe, loving and caring environment.

We offer individual tailor made integration days for you and your baby, as we understand that this enables young children to make a smooth transition to Nursery Care.

The highly experienced staff has been carefully selected for their genuine love of children and undergo thorough Police CRB and Ofsted checks.

Independent Place Day Nursery and Baby Nursery is inspected and approved by Ofsted. We are a member of the National Private Nurseries Association and the Federation of Small Businesses. Independent Place Nursery and Baby Nursery are owned by a fully qualified ex Headteacher who has thirty years experience of early years care, she is a parent of three children.

Children enjoy the very best nutrition at Independent Place Nursery, the food is freshly prepared each day and is organic. The change to organic food at Independent Place was a result of consultation with parents. Our menus are overseen by a nutritionalist.

We are open from 8.00a.m. Until 6.00p.m. Fifty one weeks of the year. We provide parents with total flexibility of care and learning for their children by offering a wide range of attendance options. There are specialist teachers for Yoga, Music, Baby Sign and French who visit the Nursery weekly to work with the children. Entry and exit is rigorously monitored, and the Nursery is extremely secure.

Independent Place Nursery and Baby Nursery is a private Nursery. We operate the Working Family Tax Credits Scheme for eligible parents, Childcare vouchers and Nursery Grants for 3 and 4 Year olds.
